NOTICE of the Board of Directors Meeting, that was scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, 2020 has
been cancelled.
President message: From Shon Taylor:
As many of homeowner/members fall within the higher risk groups, due to age or underlying health conditions, it is important that we take steps to protect their health and safety of our membership. To this end, and out of an abundance of caution we have cancelled the planned March 31st homeowners meeting and will revisit the question of the April meeting as information develops.
We are planning to have a voluntary conference call, open to members, on the 31st to discuss any questions or concerns our membership has regarding current events and impact on our community. Watch the bulletin board or your email, for time and dial-in number/web address. We will also post a link on our SREOA.com website at least 24 hours prior to call. Stay safe everyone.
Just an update that will be in the Minutes of the General Meeting of Members: You will notice as listed in the footer below, that the election results are that the board members will remain the same and the board members will hold the same offices as before. We would like to thank those who took the time to send in their ballots and to Janice Giger, Carol, Leiby, and Vitoria Vittori for opening and counting the ballots at the meeting. We were pleased to see many faces at the meeting.
One of the most important things the board does is create and enforce the association rules. While some residents may not like being told what they can and can’t do, ultimately the board is looking out for the greater good. By enforcing the rules, the board is doing its best to keep property value up and conflicts down. Of course, the board wants to make sure the rules are beneficial for the majority and hopefully all residents.
