February 2022

PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE OF THE DATES OF THE BOARD MEETING AND THE
GENERAL MEETING. MARK YOUR CALENDARS…

NOTICE of the General Membership Meeting, Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 2 PM with Board of Directors meeting to immediately follow, at the FBO, 601 Eagle Ave., Sky Ranch Estates, Sandy Valley Agenda and Minutes of the prior General meeting will be e-mailed, also placed on the website, available for those who have signed up and at the meeting.

REMINDERS:
Your 2022 HOA assessments were due January 31, thank you to those who have already sent yours and for those who have not your account is now PAST DUE, please check your records or contact Linda.

Election: We have three positions on the board open for election and we have three members who have expressed interest in running. We will prepare the “Resolution on Election by Acclamation” per NRS 116.31034 (5) and it will be exercised, and the 3 members will be elected to the board. Our next election will be February 2023, keep in mind if you would like to serve your community.

Couple items that will be discussed at the next meeting: it was suggested that due to increased expenses of electricity and the replacement of the heat/air, that the HOA should pay for the use of the FBO… WE also need to finalize this letter to new owners alerting them on how to live with an active runway.

Reminder for all to look around your property to be sure you are in compliance with our association documents. Too many cars, trucks, trailers, airplanes etc. Don’t wait for the Board to remind you.

Please remember to be courteous to your fellow neighbors. Remember to follow the speed limit (20 mph) on the airport and to come to a complete stop at the Runway crossing at Eagle/Geronimo.

One of the most important things the board does is create and enforce the association rules. While some residents may not like being told what they can and can’t do, ultimately the board is looking out for the greater good. By enforcing the rules, the board is doing its best to keep property value up and conflicts down. Of course, the board wants to make sure the rules are beneficial for the majority and hopefully all residents.

Due to the continuing event of the COVID-19 Virus, we will be adhering to the “social distancing” and ask that those attending wear a mask. We also ask that no one bring guests and only members attend.

For this time,
Your Board of Directors:
Shon Taylor, President 702 353-5925
Sean McLane, V. President, 702 553-5036
